Adil Teli breaks record, completes 440 km cycling from Sgr to Leh

SRINAGAR: Breaking the record set by three groups in 2014, 2015 and 2018, Adil Teli, a professional rider, covered the distance from Srinagar to Leh in just 26 hours and 30 minutes.
He became the first Kashmiri rider to complete a non-stop cycling of 440 km and break all records.
Teli start riding from Srinagar at 6:35 am towards Leh, and passed through different high altitudes passes like Zoji La 3528m, Namik La 3700m, and Fatu La 4108m. The highest BPM was recorded by 206 and average speed was 20, maximum was 72.
Meanwhile, Saleem and Nafe, senior riders of Cycling Association were the observers of the ride right from Srinagar to Leh.
Adil said. “I am thankful to my coaches, observers and my family who supported me every time in the field of sports.”
