Govt Middle School Tangnar Raiyar facing shortage of teaching staff

Khansahib 03rd May: Not with-standing the Government claims of improving the standard of education in its schools by bettering the infrastructure and quality staff, the Government schools particularly in rural areas of Budgam region continue to face shortage of staff affecting the education of the students to a great extent. The living example of it is Government Middle school Tangnar of Zone Khansahib that faces acute dearth of teaching staff. The residents of village Raiyar Khansahib alleging official ‘apathy’ in maintaining adequate staff in the school. Government Middle School Tangnar Raiyar has been craving for the staff since last three years, but the government and education department is least concerned about it.
As per reports, the local population alleged that most of the government schools falling in Khansahib zone are facing acute shortage of teaching staff, thus making career of the students bleak.
Talking to our correspondent, some of the locals of the area said that there is great injustice with the people of this area. “For the strength of more than 200 students in the government Middle school Tangnar Raiyar, there are mere six teachers, which shows seriousness of the state in maintaining rationality,” said a local resident. He added that the school has been craving for the staff since last three years, but the government and education department is least concerned about it. Another local resident said that if the government failed to depute more teachers to this school they will have no other option but to discharge their wards from that government school and admit them in any other school. They demand more teachers to be deputed there.
“We are appealing the Hon’ble Governor Mr Satya Pal Malik and Director School Education to address this grave issue at an earliest”, they further added.
